Steps to become a Limpian:

  1.  Do you have a smartphone and email? Great, now sign up to become a Limpian.
  2. Time to upload some documents. Here are the requirements you will need to have:
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Provide right to work documents (include upload link: passport, home office letter, national insurance certificate, biometric residents permit. For time-limited right to work documents they can provide a student visa, Home office letter. Additional proof of right to work for EU nationals: They must now provide proof of their immigration status, such as pre-settled status, EU settled status, or a Skilled Worker visa
    • Have prior professional cleaning experience
    • DBS checked. Please complete your DBS check, find out more about this here: Request a basic DBS check – Gov.UK. If you are on the update service or have had a DBS check in the last 30 days, you will not need to do another one. Please provide an upload link for the dbs certificate. (include section for DBS certificate reference number or update service reference number).
    • Bank statement for the bank account that will be used to receive payments from Limpia, under your name or a business that you are an owner of.
  3. Let us know if you have any professional certifications! Whilst it is not necessary for you to have any certifications to become a Limpian, we would love to know if you do. At Limpia we encourage training and development for growth within the profession, and one way to do this is by obtaining certificates from accredited providers.
  4. Activate your account: Your will out if your account has been approved within 3-5 working days. Once your account is approved, congratulations you are now a full-fledged Limpian! You are now ready to book your first clean.

How do I sign up to become a Limpian?

  3. Document Uploads
    • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old.
    • Right to Work Documents: You’ll need to upload one of the following:
      • Passport
      • Home Office letter
      • National Insurance certificate
      • Biometric Residents Permit
      • For time-limited right to work documents: You may provide a student visa or a Home Office letter.
      • For EU Nationals: You must provide proof of immigration status, such as pre-settled status, EU settled status, or a Skilled Worker visa.

  2. DBS Check You need a valid DBS check. If you’ve had a DBS check in the last 30 days or are on the update service, you won’t need a new one.

    • You'll need to upload your DBS certificate and provide either the certificate reference number or your update service reference number.
  3. Bank Account Upload a bank statement for the account where you’ll receive payments. It must be under your name or a business you own.
  4. Certifications (Optional) While not mandatory, let us know if you have any professional cleaning certifications. Limpia encourages professional growth and training!
  5. Account Activation Once your documents are submitted, your account will be reviewed within 3-5 working days. Once approved, congratulations—you’re a Limpian! You can now log in to the Limpian HUB and book your first clean.
